I grew up in Stratford, Connecticut, where my love for old homes and all things Victorian was born also. My family and I moved just before I was 12 to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we spent almost 4 years. My migration to Texas came via Amarillo where we spent 1 year. No offence, but coming from New Mexico and Connecticut, it was not my cup of tea.

Just before my 16th birthday, we moved to Plano, just north of Dallas. In 1999 I graduated high school, and in 2000 I started attending Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, Texas.

I am normal - I happened to finish college in 4.5 years. I have a BA, as I said, and loved the school and campus. Huntsville is in the Piney Woods area, so there was hills, green and my longing for "home" (Connecticut) was filled for a bit.

Moved back to Dallas, to Allen actually, and lived there until July 2006 when I accepted a writing position in the small town of Marlin.

When I am not working, I am designing new wallpaper, doing random graphics on my Macintosh computer, writing, hanging out with my friends (in person/online) and answering the emails you all send. I also cross-stitch, watch more TV then I should and staying up late. In October 2006 my first cat, Isis, came to live with me, followed by Aset in July 2007. My cats are my babies, and my kids, and are so cute.
